We are excited to invite you to a delightful day trip to Greatstone Beach! Escape the city and enjoy a day of sun, sand, and sea with the ladies.
Greatstone Beach is renowned for its expansive sandy shores and stunning views, making it the perfect backdrop for our summer picnic. The gentle waves provide a soothing soundtrack to our day, and the beach’s open spaces are ideal for both relaxation and fun-filled activities.
Spend the day basking in the sun, exploring the coastline, and enjoying the company of fellow members. Bring your beach essentials, snacks, and a sense of adventure!
Event Details:
- Meeting Point: London St Pancras Station
- Meeting Time: 8:30 AM
- Train Departure: 9:00 AM (to Folkestone Central)
- Train Arrival: 10:00 AM
- Taxi Transfer: 10:15 AM (to Greatstone Beach)
- Beach Arrival: 11:00 AM
Itinerary:
- 8:30 AM: Arrive at London St Pancras Station for group assembly.
- 9:00 AM: Train departs to Folkestone Central. purchase your train tickets individually.
- 10:00 AM: Arrive at Folkestone Central Station.
- 10:15 AM: Taxi transfer to Greatstone Beach (included in the members ticket).
- 11:00 AM: Arrival at Greatstone Beach. Enjoy a day of relaxation, beach games, and picnic.
What to Bring:
- Your own food and drinks
- Picnic blanket
- Beach essentials (sunscreen, hat, etc.)
Provided:
- Speakers, plates, cups, and cutlery
Facilities:
- Nearby local fish and chip bar
- Car park
- Toilets
The car park and toilet facilities are conveniently close, ensuring a comfortable day for all attendees.
